Yes, this is a slow process. I am sorry to keep those of you who are looking forward to book 2 waiting... but we're getting closer, I promise. The illustrations are also being developed. Very exciting. :D Just a quick note. :)

About Tinna's Promise:

Tinna's Promise is a fantasy story of the darker kind; a touch of humour, a little pinch of the innappropriate, blended with a story of change and determination. Tinna made a promise, it's not a world-changing promise--she just wanted to follow through with something, to insure that a little boy, whose whole life has been rife with disappointment, would for once learn that adults are trustworthy.

Tinna is an outcast from her own country. She's an outcast pretty much everywhere, but finally, she's found a place for herself, and she's finally considering an end to her wandering. A good man is in the offering, the unadulterated love of a broken child and a community that is willing to include her as one of their own.

However, fate has something else in mind for Tinna. Carried away from the prospect of a simple life of comfort, and even love, Tinna is thrown into the middle a one-sided war where dragons are attacking humankind. Suddenly the resolution becomes her responsibility alone.

What must Tinna do to find her way back to the life she has traveled so hard to find? And what must she endure to fulfill that one, simple promise to a hurt little boy?

About Tinna's Might:

It's nearly twenty years after the events that took place in Tinna's Promise; and the human population is still floundering; decimated by the dragons and their inexplicable attacks. After the sudden retreat, the humans of Oromoii are left to salvage what little remains of their world.

Southwards, sensing a power vacuum, the Thran, Tinna's own people who she fled from so many years ago, are stirring. Despite the fact that the Throne of Oromoii still exists, it remains weak and ineffectual. The Thran see opportunity; their vast military is being prepared for the possibility of an invasion.

Tinna is poised to become leader of Thamatoc. She has had a daughter; and Taneth is working to help rebuild some of the institutions that have been taken from them from the catastrophic dragon burnings. Life is quite peaceful.

..until Na-AiSerral arrives.

She comes to Thamatoc with a cortege of Thran she-warriors and a heart full of ill-intentions. Tinna, who has faced a dragons, wars and murders without batting an eyelash, knows she truly has something to fear in this woman.

She is Tinna's mother.
